"Beautiful place but food options were limited so make sure you check opening times of the restaurant. We enjoyed our stay and the beautiful surroundings."

"Ein wunderschönes Hotel, super schöne Zimmer, tolles Ambiente, sehr herzliche und freundliche Mitarbeiter, tolles Essen.Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder."

"For the price that we paid it should have been a five star. It Waqas more like a 3 star. The food in the restaurant was ok. Nothing to rave about. I alway head that staying in a castle was amazing well this was just ok. Kind Regards, Suzy"

"Das Zimmer war sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Allerdings war das Zimmer sehr hellhörig. ( Gespräche im Nachbarzimmer waren gut hören) Wir fanden den Preis für ein wirklich kleines DZ mit Minibad ( das Bad war modernisiert) etwas überzogen. Schwimmbad und Sauna haben wir nicht genutzt. Es war schönes Sommerwetter."

"Wonderful hotel with very friendly staff, good food and nice wellness area. "

"Lovely hotel, good location, comfy bed"

"Nice and friendly staff!"

"Compared to the 5 stars it has then it was a bit underwhelming but overall a very good hotel"

"Everything one needs was there."

"Clean room, inside the city center. "

"Excellent Location Excellent Accommodations Excellent Customer Service Great History. This hotel is like no other. Super high tech and modern in a historic building. Highly recommended "

"Nice place to stay in Wismar."

"Maybe not the very best location, but a nice place with a friendly staff and a really nice breakfast :-)"

"Great place for families of all ages."

"Great"

"Wonderful breakfast!"

"I was there just for one night. It‘s a nice but old fashioned hotel. The rooms were clean, but in a stormy night it wasn’t quite easy to sleep as the room was noisy, probably due to the building itself. Calling prior to the trip the reception to evaluate where I could park, they were quite difficult to understand (no native German). Even a written request wasn’t answered. I only had luck to find a public parking place right in front of the hotel, within the free parking times. "

"Das Hotel hat uns begeistert. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Wir freuen uns schon darauf, wiederzukommen!"

"This is by far the *cleanest* hotel I have ever stayed in, with the most friendly and helpful staff ever! Do get a room with view onto the lake, as it is fantastic. Note that they also have bike rentals (and they are good bikes) and it is worth taking the bike trips around the lakes."
