Warm room. Comfy bed. Hot and fairly powerful shower. Facilities, furnishings and deco dated but fully functional and as expected for a budget hotel. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Middle of student area so external noise at a weekend shouldn’t surprise anyone and not the hotels fault. At a time when hotels in Manchester are ridiculously priced it’s nice to know affordable accommodation still exists on a tight budget. A perfectly quirky hotel. I enjoyed my stay and will go back should I need to be in the area again.

OYO Hotel.

Very reasonably priced. Good location. No food on site. Room is basic - but everything worked. You may have to wait for the reception as it is not always manned. Would stay here again, because so well priced.

Friendly staff, good location. Warm room and comfy clean bed. Room in need of modernisation but fine for a one night stay. Lot of noise outside from youth's early hours of the morning. Not the hotels fault.

Want to stay in a crack den? Here's the place!

Nope. What a shocker of a place. Upon arrival, the hotel car park had a number of unruly characters smoking crack. The rooms, well they might have been the car park group's base, disgusting, unclean and unhabitable. I've stayed in some bad places over the years, but this was so gross i couldn't stay. I told reception that we'd be leaving and not staying. Since then, OYO have refused to refund due to their cancellation policy. TERRIBLE customer service and a terrible hotel. Don't do it to yourself.

Avoid

The photos are not an accurate representation - this hotel is totally run-down, old and dirty. The mattress was old and lumpy, the walls are peeling, the carpet is threadbare, the furniture was badly stained. There were also bars on the window, so it felt like a prison. My friend came to my room and she got kicked in the bathroom. When I went to get the man on reception he came and got her out, but he tried to make it out that is was her fault for "locking the door then pulling it", but then said several times that it happens frequently. I'm not sure what would have happened if I had accidentally locked myself in when I was alone with no way to ask for help. There was no food available, and there are definitely better quality places for the same cost. The only reason I didn't give 1 start is because the bedding was very clean.

Adequate room bathroom shocking couldn't even take a shower the thermostat wouldnt generate the water right so was far too hot to use. Toilet wouldnt flush. Rude staff. No help to carry bags with lift being out of order. Definitely wont be staying again.

Only looking for a bed for the night so it did the job. Clean and comfortable beds but place was very run down. No shower in bathroom, no way to deadlock door and the fact the bathroom door lock was dodgy and I got locked in were the worst issues

Like: Location was suitable for me as I was staying near to my sons hostel and that is the reason I booked the property. Dislike: During my 3 days stay there was no House keeping. They barely have any staff doing such service. Bedsheets never changed, Coffee etc never replenished, Toiletries including towels never changed. All in all there was no service in the hotel other than handing over room keys.

Don't take the risk

My friend and I had booked a twin room. When I tried to check in, I was told me that they "do not receive Hotels.com bookings" and they had no record of my booking. I showed the confirmation on my phone, but this did nothing and I was told this would not be honoured. I eventually had to leave and book an alternative hotel at much greater cost as it was on the day so that we had somewhere to stay. Avoid this hotel despite the low cost. It's not worth the risk.

I know it's not expensive, still charged over the odds, I expected a bit better, is nothing like the pictures or description on the site. No mention of 50 odd stairs, broken lift, the room wasn't clean, including the bedding, bathroom was pretty disgusting, non refundable. Avoid, hostel would be a better choice. Should've had environmental check before falsely advertising.

Attention: porte de l'établissement sont fermées entre 23 heures et 7 heures. Il faut alors téléphoner à un numéro de mobile pour que la personne vienne ouvrir. Avec mon opérateur j'avais peu de réseau, pas de problème avec WhatsApp via le wifi de l'hotel. Les chambres sont vieilles mais propres, pas de climatisation ni de ventilateur

マンチェスターはかつて繊維産業で栄えた都市でしたが、現在は都市の中心街はロンドンのよう。オクスフォードロード駅北にはゲイ・ヴィレッジがあり、南にはマンチェスター大学が200年の歴史を誇りますが、さらに南に行くとイスラム系の移民街が連なる街です。 なので、居心地は良いのですが、大きなコンサート等があるとホテルがすぐに埋まってしまうのがたまに傷。 そんな中このホテルは通常は1日7000円と言う破格の値段で泊まれます。調度品などは特段良いと言うわけでもないです。 ですか、半地下の部屋には、十分な広さのベッド、椅子、クローク、タンス、机、テレビ、ケトル、コーヒー、紅茶、シャワーとトイレと洗面台が完備されていて、照明も暗くないです。 オーナーはもともと医者をしていた方なので、社会的な信頼もあります。チェックインをするときに鍵をいただいて、チェックアウトのときには、鍵をキーボックスに返すだけ。廊下には、せめてものおしゃれな雰囲気を出すために、フランスのシャネル風の写真が並んでいます。 この値段でこの都市に泊まるには、とても良い場所と考えていいと思います。駅からホテルに行く間は歩くと1時間ほどかかりますが、バスも通っていますし、途中にイスラム系のレストランもいっぱいあります。なので歩いて帰っても飽きはしないはずです。

Didn't expect much at the price, but for 1 night? On arrival the limited car parking was badly organised & lacked space so had to park on the street, checking in was slow. Got to the room and it reminded me of thee TV series Porridge, dull, soulless room with few amenities a dated and fragrant bathroom with no towels. Which I didn't notice until the morning.

Wow I've never seen a 'hotel' like this. Notice no bathroom pictures because I think they have better facilities in prisons. The carpet was frayed and looked like half of it has never been hoovered, like a layer of sand had collected along the walls. Though the bedding looked clean I could feel the bed frame through the mattress when I sat on it. A hostel would be better, honestly. Not worth a tenner let alone what I wasted as I couldn't allow myself to stay there, my friend and I didn't feel safe. Most expensive use of a toilet ever because that is all that was used before we left. Don't waste your money and pay a little extra for somewhere you won't feel like a refugee.
