"Great traditional hotel with incredible staff and a fantastic breakfast!"

"Nice place lovely owners, very helpful and great breakfast"

"Clean room, lovely outlook."

"Staff were lovely and the room was delightful. As always, the location is perfect for walking. Service in the restaurant is friendly but has room for improvement (eg taking plates away promptly, and presenting wine at the right temperature (red wine temp was good on one day, but far too cold the next). It would be useful when booking if it were clearer that there is a restricted menu Sun - Tues. Overall, we really appreciate the welcome here."

"A lovely hotel.good location.will definately be back"

"Lovely hotel, staff friendly and very helpful. Spa is wonderful."

"Great location with parking and choice of restaurants on site."

"The hotel is worn and dated. Premier boasts that you will have a comfortable sleep, it was by far the least comfortable stay we had on this 5 city holiday. However, the restaurant was very good, we had breakfast and dinner there each day of our stay. We only chose this hotel for the location as we had business within walking distance."

"We had an excellent stay - very lovely property, clean, comfortable, it had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend, and the gardens were beautiful."

"Really lovely staff, lovely room and great food. Only point to note is that the accomodation is above the pub, so if you go to bed early this may not be the place for you as some of the bar sounds can be heard until closing time."

"Lovely spacious room, easy parking, excellent breakfast, helpful staff and nice pub!"

"Lovely place highly recommended and the host is just wonderful. "

"From check in to check out the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Probably the most dog friendly hotel we’ve stayed in"

"Very pleasant would stay again"

"Food and staff both excellent as always."

"Gorgeous building with interesting historical links and facts. Breakfast was nice, if a little pricey"

"Great room and food at this property and staff were all really friendly."
