"Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. "

"Lovely hotel with great rooms, good selection of coffees teas and local fudge. Fresh milk provided to take to your room. Great range of beds, bowls and treats for dogs too. Meals were excellent and the staff, Sarah and Rob (and the others too) went above and beyond to make us all feel welcome and sort gluten free information for one of our party. Will definitely go back."

Boiler water very low topped up nothing. Hottub cold was 29°. "Stayed in the cottages for a wedding weekend. Everything was lovely and the location is just fabulous. The food was lovely and the staff all worked really hard and were there morning until night.
The cosy lounges were a bit too warm when the fires were roaring but there are other rooms to sit in.

"Great location, friendly owner and house keeper, well maintained with a cosy homely feel. The kitchen was well equiped for self catering and the home was kept warm for our autumnal stay. Towels were provided as were gowns and slippers which were a thoughtful addition for the use of the hot tub. A much appreciated basket of goodies greeted us on arrival. Would happily return."
