Hotel Palacete de Álamos, Historic Center
10/10 Excellent
"So, we really lucked out with this hotel. It’s just on the inside of the historic centre. It’s clean, modern, really well done. Almost boutique. It’s not large in terms of rooms but like 1 min away for really good restaurants and craft beer bars. Staff super helpful and friendly. Good English and could understand pidgin Spanish as well. I really don’t want to write this review as soon as other people find it, it’s going to be sold out. If you book, ask for extra shampoo and body soap. They have no issue to give you more. Booking taxis and other stuff they are good at. Bath in bathroom if that matters to you. Tea in lobby, and I mean make your own sachet tea, not a tea bag. So in summary, great a neat hotel. Highly recommend."

"Hotel was nice and tidy. Priced about right, in my opinion. The breakfast was kind of meh, but adequate. Room was quiet and very nice size. It was in a convenient location, within walking distance of the center, the alcazar, and a half hour bus ride to the convention center."

"We stayed here when we arrived in Malaga in the evening. The location was convenient to the airport with our rental car. The location was not good if we had been planning on spending time in Malaga. There was nothing to do in the neighborhood. The staff were friendly and helpful. The gardens were beautiful."

"Pluses: Suprisingly quiet Functional room Good Air Con Good Wi Fi Instant hot water. Litle balcony was a nice touch. Staff helpful, friendly and EFFICIENT. 8 euro Breakfast was perfectly ok. Good enough choice and buffet so can go back for more if you needed. Minuses: Freezer shelf of mini fridge had no ocver so it froze everything on shelf below. Very little roon for food items. Shower sliding doors come off rails easily and a little dirty. Al in all it was pretty good for a very budget level city hotel. I would stay again."
