Barcelo at Sevilla is a great hotel for families. I stayed there with my family during a trip to Sevilla for 3 days. The rooms are very clean, very comfortable beds and good amenities and the hotel staff are very helpful. They also have gym and swimming pool. I would recommend this hotel for families.

The hotel is affordable, well located, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. However, the hotel had an old, musty smell, and my room had a very strong sewer odor. This should be addressed, especially room 1414. We also had a bad experience with the food at the Arrozante restaurant. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to complain at the moment because we had a very busy schedule visiting different places.

Check in could have been friendlier. Pool indoor is nice however after dark the lights did not turn on automatically. The new lifeguard could not turn on the pool lights. This is a good hotel, well lite rooms. Safe and beautiful area. Convenient parking. However reception staff could improve their welcome approach.

Outstanding hotel. Really nice room, with fantastic buffet breakfast selection - which is well worth it so you don’t have to travel into the city centre. The pool is a perfect temperature and the gym is the best hotel gym we’ve visited. The staff on the front desk are very friendly. The only downside is the waiters in the restaurant (Santa Maria); we had two men who were very unfriendly and rude. This was very disappointing, especially given they automatically add a service charge to the bill. The other staff working there were friendly.

Incredible stay

This is a place of exceptional value. The room was confortabĺe and clean. The breakfast is simply fantastic, with an incredible variety amd abundance of food. Great coffee as well! The restaurant Santa Maria was also of great quality with nice personnel.

Overall a good hotel. Large rooms but it’s noisy so very much family focus. Not recommended for couples who want a retreat. Not much variety for breakfast. Rooms are large but the sofa beds are painful!

Amazing hotel with an incredible breakfast!

The Barcelo was an absolute treat to stay at. From check-in to check-out the stay was amazing, we were treated like VIP's. And I can't do enough to compliment the breakfast, it was the biggest and best buffet selection I have ever experienced, and I have experienced many! I will definitely stay again.

I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet at this hotel—it’s super convenient, especially when traveling with kids. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the location—it’s a bit far from most attractions, so we had to rely on taxis to get around. While buses are available, they’re not the easiest option with little ones. If you don’t mind taking a taxi, I’d still recommend staying here. Be sure to take advantage of the breakfast buffet and the pool—it makes the stay feel much more relaxing!
