"A very warm welcome from Connor on our arrival, we stayed in the seaside suite and it was lovely. Bright and airy with a separate (but adjoining) room for the kids and big bathroom, perfect for a relaxing soak. We had a slight misshap with our bathroom plumbing but Connor went above and beyond to fix it. Had one of the best sticky toffee puddings I've ever tasted at dinner (honesty, SO good!). Breakfast was tasty and Olivia was equally charming and hospitable to us as we checked out. All in all,...

"Generous room with a direct door onto the courtyard which I liked. Room was clean although the building was showing some signs of age. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the small menu was all very tasty. Other good pubs in the village for a change of scenery but good beer and camaraderie in the Rose and Crown."

"The building is about 500 yrs old so if you arelooking for a modern room look elsewhere also if you are a large person try another property it is a room above a pub. Very clean, comfy bed great tv and wifi service i loved ot and would return "

"Very nice to find fresh milk in the fridge, thank you! Nice clean, quiet room with comfy bed. The only criticism is that the hot water supply was scalding. Dangerously hot, although there is a warning sign. Didn’t risk using the shower in case I couldn’t control the temperature so I managed without. Otherwise fine, thank you. "
