"Very good hotel, slightly steep slope to reach the hotel but the hotel staff (Davut) kindly helped with suitcases. Nice breakfast and terrace with good view. The room was a bit dark and lighting could have been better, but overall a good option "

"There is a cat named Lady. She was a delightful addition to our stay.
The man in charge was also a delight to chat with and to bring a lovely breakfast to us eating outside."

"Staying at the Chez Rumi and visiting Şirinçe was an incredibly pleasant and memorable experience.
It was different from a typical hotel experience. The hosts were so warm, hospitable, and easy-going that we felt like guests at a good friend's or relative's home. The unit was spacious and clean despite the old building. The bathroom could use some renovation but it was overall decent.

"Very rustic. Pleasant environment in a cute village. The rooms needs maintenance. Mattress are very old and pillows are quite uncomfortable. If you come by car, be aware that the hotel parking advertised by the hotel does not exist, they will direct you to the municipal parking lot, which is not far, and parking fees are at your own expenses, hotel will not provide a refund of credit. No fridge either. "

"Nei pasti pronti del buffet si trovavano capelli del personale si consiglia l’uso di retina in testa. In camera i vetri erano molto sporchi e nello specifico all’ interno c’era una ragno schiacciato . Maggiore attenzione alla pulizia "

"The room was big. We had a Turkish bath in it. The bathroom was big. Everything was spotless. Breakfast was delicious and varied with plenty of food. Parking was right outside the hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel , especially if you are going to Ephesus. It’s like 7 minutes away. Restaurants are a 5 minute drive away. Hasan who works there, I believe a manager, was very helpful. We were leaving for Ephesus before breakfast and he made sure breakfast was available before we left. Hotel was really special. "
"The hotel/ house was built in the 1800’s so it has been renovated to accommodate modern plumbing without altering the original structure too much. The bathroom was well appointed but up 3 stone steps from the bedroom floor. The room was charming & clean with a air conditioner & heater for modern comfort.
The location is not easy to locate & navigate due to the narrow stone streets that are not on a grid pattern throughout the town/village. There are signs along the road/path & on doors if you look & aren’t depending on your google map on your phone.
But it is charming & walking is the best & often only way to navigate this mountain village.
The manager/host/owner Atill was very welcoming & accommodating & thankfully spoke English. His young staff person was very friendly & helpful despite not speaking English. Atill arranged a wine tasting with his friend & recommended a restaurant, and walkef me there when I couldn’t find places.
Breakfast was wonderful but not included for a small price. He even had delicious tea that he created with his secret recipe.
I said that I would give him a “10” rating my experience at his hotel. He definitely made my stay a very enjoyable positive experience for this older solo traveler.
