"We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel 101 in Madrid. The hotel was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Our room was quiet and relaxing, which was especially welcome after a long journey. The staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful, and we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The hotel’s convenient location made it an excellent choice for our stay in Madrid. Everything was handled efficiently, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly choose Hotel 101 again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay in Madrid!"

"I was there for one night before my flight home. The hotel is in a great location and removed from but convenient to the very busy shopping areas. The elevators will assign you to a specific elevator based on where you want to go and are generally very quick. The hotel breakfast was included and is extensive (I wish I had more time to enjoy it but had to get to the airport!). I did not love the location of my room which was one of the closest to the elevators (so I did hear kids running and shouting occasionally) and it was for a handicapped guest (I am not handicapped). Otherwise, I would stay here again but would request a quiet room."

"This was an excellent hostel style stay - you just need to have the expectation of hostel not hotel. The bed was small but comfortable - take ear plugs as you will hear the guests in the capsules nearby. The shared spaces were good - showers were down the stairs as were most of the bathroom facilities. WiFi didn't always work well in the sleeping areas which was an issue for the electronic key at times. Enjoyed having access to shared kitchen and eating spaces. We were grateful to not be assigned an upper level capsule as that would have been a little more challenging for us as guests in our 60's to access. All in all a reasonably priced stay near the Grand Via and we would stay here again."

"The morning restaurant manager (black suit) is totally top notch. He was super accommodating to us. The afternoon/evening barkeep chased us out, rather abruptly, of the common sitting area because we’d brought dessert back to eat in the hotel after a long day out. While it’s fine to want a place food-free (there was no indication of such), I think it not fine that we were chased away like vagrants in a train station."
