A wonderful small hotel on the ocean. The Manager Joana is so lovely and ensures you have everything you need for a great stay. This place is a perfect spot to explore the island including to start the historic vineyard walking trail. Highly recommend.

Nice for hiking right from the property, only 1.5 hr to Magdalena through vineyards and along the ocean shore. Good restaurants in Magdalena. 8 min by car. Amazing view of Mt. Pico. Very quiet.

Great view, either to the ocean or to the mountain. Surrounded by curral vineyards. We had a very warm welcoming. The hostes is extremely nice and you'll feel at ease, like you know her for a long time. She gave us a map with the main attractions and restaurants. All the restaurants she listed were spor on. The room is very spacious, and has great amenities. With a full kitchen. It's in a good location 5 minutes form Madalena. Don't think you can't get much better than this.

The location was fantastic. I loved hearing the ocean crashing all night from my window and the view. The restaurant on premises was delicious and there were adorable cats in the area. Highly recommend this place. I would definitely stay there again.

Pleasant and helpful staff! The apartment suite we stayed in (#4) was wonderful. Clean, spacious, quiet, stylish and well equipped, and with a large sunny patio overlooking the sea! The location is an easy 10 minute drive to Madalena, and far enough out for peaceful ocean breezes. Continental breakfast was sufficient. Unfortunately, must drive somewhere for dinner although we walked up to the local cafe/pub for some cheap beers! Overall a 5 out of 5! Looking forward to seeing the progress of the construction of the single units and restaurant!

Fantasic location with a well equipped appartment

We stayed for 3 days in an appartment overlooking the Ocean. The attention to detail in the appartment was amazing everything was catered for to the point of blankets being left if it got cold on the balcony. The hostess Claudia was lovely and brought us breakfast daily with a smile and a chat about the best places on the Island. This was our first visit to the Island and I was so sad to leave this appartment I could have stayed there for ever on the balcony watching the ocean. I can not fault this place it even had a small playground for children, although we did not have any.

Appartamento vista mare con una bellissima terrazza da cui ci siamo goduti il tramonto su Faial. Arredato con gusto e moderno, molto piacevole e comodo anche per la posizione vicino a Madalena e alle vigne. Simpaticissima la signora alla reception che ci ha dato consigli x visita e ristoranti. La vue sur l'océan est à couper le souffle. Le personnel est très attentionné. Nous avons reçu plusieurs conseils sur des restaurants et lieux à visiter. Le petit déjeuner était ausdi très bien.

Hotel A FUIR D'URGENCE !!!!!

A votre arrivée on vous montre une chambre moitié en sous sol, moitié vue sur un terrain vague avec des pelleteuse en action. ils vous proposent de payer 100 euros cash de plus pour avoir une chambre plus calme qui n'est pas a la cave... Deplorable, et en plus un personnel desagreable et escroc!!!! A FUIR !!!!!!!!!!

Amazing Stay

Beautiful location, very tastefully arranged apartments combined with great hospitality. The receptionists Ana and Claudia are simply fantastic. They recommended restaurants and places to eat to us. A real 10 star service!

World heritage Pico Vineyards!

Modern guesthouse hotel on a basaltic soil of World Heritage Vineyards at the bottom of grandeur Pico volcano! Amazing! Two-storey  rooms and a cozy place for your own. So pity couldn't have stayed for more...

Even in the winter time with unpredictable weather, this hotel is a pleasant stay with helpful customer service via email especially before the visit, helping to plan activities, making suggestions what to see or eat while on the island. Even while staying here over the Christmas holiday, the owner was gracious in helping find places to eat and going above and beyond in bringing food! Renting a car is a must, as the hotel is a bit a ways from the major town. The space is spacious, generous, and clean.

Amazing!!!

What an amazing, modern and comfortable place. The apartment was fully equipped and carefully decorated to a high standard. The terrace and the dramatic views of the ocean were spectacular. I would definitely stay again.
