"Stay at the 1842 Inn if you want the vibe of an old southern mansion. It is clean, the rooms are furnished with antiques, yes some plaster is peeling, but the bed is comfortable. The staff is super friendly. The breakfast in the courtyard was enjoyable. I recommend for those that are not too fussy though, since the vibe is definitely OLD southern home."

"Bug were left dead in the hallway by cleaning staff. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. There was one older woman working the breakfast room that seemed VERY grumpy. I was not comfortable in there when she was there. Doors need updating. "

"No barista at Starbucks after 10 AM. Needed at arrival in PM Complained of tv problem twice. Said couldn’t be replaced until it totally quit. It did at 6:30 this morning. But - Staff was friendly and food in restaurant was good. Bed was comfortable."
