"The property is a little older, but it felt like an excellent value. We had a spacious room with a balcony and a view of the beach and bridge for what I thought was a very reasonable price."

"I arrived late at night and was unable to open the room door. I had to return to the front desk, and a staff member came back with me to the room and demonstrated that the door had to be forcefully pushed open every time in order to work. I was also unable to get the TV working despite trying multiple troubleshooting steps, including unplugging and reconnecting it and trying different outlets. In the end, I had to watch television on my phone instead. The following morning, I discovered the toilet was clogged before I had even used it. When I called the front desk, I was simply handed a plunger and expected to handle it myself. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a quick overnight stay before heading to the island ended up being a very disappointing experience."

"This is a very dated property. While we were there they were making repairs, which is good, but they will never be able to change the architectural ugliness of the property itself, although adding a few trees/gardens to that ridiculously immense parking area would help. Room was OK, but they don't know how to properly make up a bed. Beach view is dirty (we were there off-season). Staff was friendly. Breakfast was minimal but in a very nice location"

"The staff was AMAZING, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. We did not have breakfast in town. But dinner and drink were good at Dixie. The hot tub in the room was amazing after a cold day on the island. The parking lot is in need of repair. The room needed to be swept better. There was food behind a night stand. I did not report it due to it wasn't a huge problem for us since we didnt have smaller kids of pets. The hot tub had some dirt in jets. Should probably clean more during room cleanings. Thank you for a great stay Crown Choice!!!"

"Our stay was a good stay. The water park was such a great perk! There wasn’t no continental breakfast, which we missed; and there wasn’t a staff member at the front desk at all times. The property was run down and not the cleanest. The toilet in our bathroom had a handle that would pop out. We’d have to push it back in to flush it. The staff were very friendly! They made up our room by making our beds and restocking towels while we were out. It’s a good hotel for a few nights and for the price."
