It was nice and we really could have walked to Shepler’s Ferry (11 minutes) to Mackinac Island instead of using the van. It was conveniently located to Joann’s Fudge (best in town), restaurants and sights.

Check in was quick, accommodated a room close to the pool on the first floor. Clean room. Decent breakfast available. Includes scrambled and fried eggs, sausage links, waffles, yogurt, toast, bagels, a couple of cereal options, juices, and milk. It’s very close to the Shepler’s Ferry Day Lot. Can leave your car at the hotel and skip paying for parking. You can even be picked up and dropped off right at the hotel doors if you don’t feel like walking across the street to the lot. Cleaning staff were respectful of your belongings. There’s Dove shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Nice smelling bars of soap. Lots to see around if you don’t want to ferry to Mackinac multiple days. Check out the Crossings area!
