"We really appreciated the bright and helpful staff being available to show us our room in the very early hours of the morning "

"The hotel is in a marvellous position overlooking Portpatrick. It's rather dated but comfortable and extremely good value for money. The supper menu was rather limited and service rather slow. We appreciated the upgrade to a superior room with sea view. The big disappointment though is now being charged for parking there, which was never the case at a previous stay. Hotels don't normally charge for parking in their own grounds."
