Problems with hot water in room. Rooms basic but clean. Breakfast buffet basic but adequate. Hotel looks tired.
Staff very good, especially Niamh at reception.
Had a great time, the chef Ian is an amazing cook food was delicious, his lovely wife tash served us dinner and drink’s and kindly wrote down place’s to visit. All the other staff were happy smiley especially the young staff Olivia from reception and Josh serving breakfast. The excellent staff definitely make’s the hotel a great place to visit.

The hotel is in a marvellous position overlooking Portpatrick. It's rather dated but comfortable and extremely good value for money. The supper menu was rather limited and service rather slow. We appreciated the upgrade to a superior room with sea view. The big disappointment though is now being charged for parking there, which was never the case at a previous stay. Hotels don't normally charge for parking in their own grounds.

Very old and outdated furniture and fittings. Not a lot of staff members but very nice, pleasant people. Fantastic views and setting but let down by the decor and furnishings.
Food good, room comfortable, internet access good - only gripe was being charged for parking

Room needed tlc. Bathroom light was iffy ~ seemed to have a loose connection. Stayed last year at this time but things have disimprived since. Food selection at both dinner and breakfast was less. No marmalade in the traditional hame of marmalade if we believe Mr Keiller.
Staff were very pleasant and courteous. Lovely building and location
