"Incredibly friendly place, always trying to help you in whatever they can, if one day I'm coming back to Maafushi I'm staying there again for sure. Thank you for everything."

"Good: Comfortable bed, helpful and kind staff, all advertised amenities and more (a plug converter), good signage, close to shops. Not that good: The sprayers of the soap and shampoo bottles were too tight, not suitable for those liquids. The room smells humid when no air-conditioning, location is far from jetties, but as Male is a small island, it's not that big of a deal."

"I had a pleasant stay at Alaika Hotel in Maafushi. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and the staff are very professional. Everything was well-organized, and I felt taken care of throughout my stay. Maafushi is also the most active and tourist-friendly island I visited, with plenty of activities, restaurants, and excursions available. "Vandhanen duede ikke og der var skimmelsvamp flere steder på værelset. Personalet var under alt kritik og der blev ikke gjort rent på værelset selvom vi bad om det. De opkrævede ekstra penge for at være to personer, hvilket vi ikke var blevet informeret om."

"Our stay at SAii Lagoon was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff, the high-quality service, and the overall atmosphere of the resort. Every detail—from the well-maintained facilities to the diverse and delicious dining options—contributed to a truly seamless all-inclusive experience. We originally visited to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, and SAii Lagoon made the occasion truly unforgettable. The personalized touches and genuine care shown by the team elevated our stay in every way. We also had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people during our time at the resort, which made the experience even more special. Kaani Village & Spa

"We had a fantastic stay at Kaani Palm Beach. Rooms are spacious, a/c works really well, good sized bathroom and a really comfortable large bed. The infinity pool on the roof is a great bonus with fantastic views, although it can get very warm in the afternoons. The Kaani sunbeds on part of bikini beach are free, and have an umbrella. The main attribute for the hotel however, is the staff. We met so many lovely members of staff, that I can't remember them all, but I would like to mention Azmeem, one of the managers who helped us when we had a problem with the room. In the restaurant, Anisur, Try, Farouk, MD Alom and Omelette man Rana (apologies for any spelling mistakes) were all absolute stars, I would like to mention more, but my memory lets me down. Would definitely love to come back to this hotel 💯"
