"I would highly recommend Pillows Boutique Hotel if you don't need to be in the heart of Chiang Mai, and want a luxury hotel for a budget price. The rooms were very nice, very clean, in a quiet area and only 10 minutes or so from central Chiang Mai by car. The only negative was having to go outside the hotel to smoke as there was no balcony, but that is a very minor inconvenience. "The public areas (eg, driveway, lobby, lifts) and rooms were always clean and tidy. The staff were beyond helpful, both at the front desk, the concierge, and housekeeping. The buffet breakfast was terrific. The decor in the rooms is a bit dated, but the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here. "
