"Have stayed a dozen times before always been really good. Was good this time, However in my opinion it is completely unacceptable to charge for pool towels (£2 per towel). This has never happened before. The receptionist was very embarrassed about it and apologised, they said that they wouldn’t pay and suggested using the bathroom towels and using the washer/dryer in the apartment instead of paying. Didn’t pay!"

"Excellent hotel. Large room and bathroom all pretty new. Good food and drink service including late bar and snacks. Decent breakfast buffet with spacious and clean eating area. Close to tram stop. Good value. Would recommend."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Clifton, the building has a lovely area where you can just sit and relax whilst sipping a cocktail or a coffee. The room was very clean albeit a bit dated and needed some refurbishment however I understand that this will be happening soon. The dining room staff were really lovely especially Bev, Corrina and Pam. One member of dining staff was very abrupt at times, I don’t know her name because she wasn’t wearing a badge."
