We had an amazing stay. The inn was beautiful and clean. All of the interaction we had with the staff was amazing. The breakfast was also very good. We would definitely go back!
Rabbit Hill Inn is a hidden gem. Quiet and cozy. Decor is exactly what you think of with a Vermont inn. Breakfast is upscale and delicious. Nice little pub for drinks and a bite to eat. Our bartender, Evilyn, was the nicest lady. Loved her! We adopted a stuffed bunny to remember our visit.
Very cozy and quiet. Perfect for relaxing and slowing down the pace.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Kudos to Rabbit Hill for their outstanding staff. The inn managers, servers and bartenders are exceptional and made us feel very welcome. Housekeeping did a fabulous job with the room. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, kid free, pet free, clean and charming inn. We were there off-season, and we loved it. We especially enjoyed the Snooty Fox Pub and 24 Carrot restaurant, which has a gorgeous fireplace! Special recognition to Sydney, Philip Courtney and Victoria. We had a memorable stay and hope to return next year.
We stayed at the RHI for a late summer weekend getaway. As people in our early 50s, we want a nice room, kept-up grounds, great food, and others our age to meet and chat with. The place was perfect for us. Our room was the Nest, and it was spacious and comfortable. We used the jacuzzi in the room. We loved the breakfasts. Tea time treats were amazing. We didn’t use everything the Inn had to offer, but we appreciated it all was there. The RHI is near Franconia Notch State Park, and that was our main activity in the area. It too was breathtaking. We enjoyed our stay greatly and highly recommend the RHI.
Was on our bucket list and glad we finally made the reservation. Loved this B&B for a romantic getaway. Well maintained property with historic appeal. Welcoming staff on arrival - felt personal and inviting. The Hampshire room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Old English vibe. Dinner and the complimentary breakfast were delicious. Enjoyed walking around the property and playing some of the outdoor games. Definitely will be back.
We loved the old world charm of the place. The host and everyone who worked here were wonderful. This is a place worth visiting and I highly recommend it.
Understaffed. One woman handling a dining room and the pub. The room was very musty smelling and the air conditioning wall unit noisy. You could see where it once had a luster that was not there anymore.
Greeted at thebdoor. Super helpful, friendly staff. Gorgeous, stately rooms and historic atmosphere. We were in the Hampshire room. Beautiful, elegant, spacious. Large bathroom. The food at the restaurant was delicious, good wine choice, good service ( shout out to Tristan). Highly recommend
Beautiful old building, well maintained. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was great. Bathrooms in these old inns are afterthoughts, this one was squeezed in and did not match the high nightly price the inn charges. Fiberglass tub/shower was adequate but tight so wondered why they bothered with the tub, should have just done a shower and gained some room. Vanity top was in good shape but laminate. More than one floor tile was cracked and in full view from sitting on the toilet, and these weren't old period tiles so no charm.
When we booked we received a notice that the dining room booked up so we should make a dinner reservation in advance. We called a week ahead of time and they initially said they were booked up. Very surprised at this as we were in house guests. They called back and said they could seat us at 5:30. We sat and had dinner in what was initially an empty dining room, then a few more tables came in. When we finished the dining room was 3/4 empty with only a few tables seated. Seems their chef only wants to serve a few folks at time and/or one server is all the help they can find. I have stayed at a lot of inns and never have had this issue.
All in all a nice stay but the Inn seems to spend more energy promoting how great it is rather than just being great.
