"Love Leon Hotel LES! the staff are great and the location can't be beat for LES, East Village walking around, subways, cabs, etc. Right at the base of the Manhattan Bridge. I like that there is a park across the street to calm the bustle of everything else around. Lasty, I love the window seats, and the fact that the windows still open. Nothing like fresh air! There are no real amenities, but the staff will help you make sure you get to everything you need nearby."

I chose this hotel because it is located near the Staten Island Ferry and wanted to walk there the next morning at 5:00 am to take the ferry to the NYC Marathon. When I arrived at the Radisson the front desk told me that my booking was transferred to the Holiday Inn Lower East Side approximately 5 trains stops away. I was very upset that no notice was ever provided to me and in fact had received a reminder email of my Radisson booking only a...

"Hard to speak of it because oddly enough I did not end up staying there. You see, the hotel was fully booked when we arrived despite us making reservations. But thankfully, the guy (Frankie) at the front desk was kid and helpful and solution-oriented enough to put as at a second hotel owned by same owner 2 blocks away that was far better for the original cost! So...we were quite lucky! It was so nice there at the Allen Hotel and staff were very helpful and kind. So I have to give a positive...
