"Hotel is confusing- need signage that says to pull in and park and where the lobby is. There was no parking spaces even though we paid $18 for parking after returning from an event downtown. There were no towels for the pool or gym the entire stay, every time staff questioned they had a different lie- we are cleaning them, we don’t have enough we need to order more, therefore the lobby was wet from people coming in and out of the pool that expected towels. One guy we talked to told us not to bother he had been there for four days and there were never towels his whole stay. When our soaking wet kids got back to our room I cleaned off the floor with a hand towel and it was black from how dirty the entrance was- no reason for it to be from us coming in once to change into bathing suits. Hot tub had a ton of foam that was dirty, pool had so many chemicals one of the kids we were with had a rash. Breakfast was decent multiple options, eggs were cold, kids complained sausage and potatoes were cold and way too much pepper. Unfortunately when we return to GR this won’t be where we will stay. "

"It was a few months ago, but I meant to post a review! We had a lovely stay here and the staff treated us well and they were pleasant and provided us great options for stuff to do downtown! The room and facility was very clean and the location is absolutely terrific!"
"Only thing I would complain about is the breakfast. Had a big event at Van Andel Arena the night before and a ton of people stayed here to. The event lasted longer than most people stay up and so we were all sluggish in the morning and didn’t make it to breakfast until 9, breakfast was until 930. Well at 9am, they only had eggs, 2 sausage patties anda few muffin sandwiches. Never refilled anything. I get it’s close to breakfast ending but there was at least 50 people I seen come down from 9-920 to get breakfast!!"
