"Cypress Lakes resort is brilliantly located. The room we were in was just a little dated and tired (especially the bathroom) but still fine and comfortable. Having two single beds put together for the bed was also just a little unexpected. But the one thing which brought the rating down to 4 rather than 5 was that when we put the airconditioner on we started sneezing. On checking the filter within the unit is was completely opaque with dust - so it hadn't been cleaned in a LONG time - potentially years. We mentioned this to front desk who said they were in the process of getting them cleaned - but for it to have been left this long between cleans was really not acceptable - it's an immediate health problem once the filter is left uncleaned for this long. So, overall really good, but this was a significant dropped ball on cleanliness."

"The property is in a good location and the rooms were comfortable. We had a few small issues and chatted to reception and these were rectified very quickly. The only issue I found was the limited communication regarding the current building works on site which resulted in the impact on onsite parking and road changes based on Main roads works around the location. Would certainly stay again."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Contacted about getting an extra towel and it arrived within minutes. Great location easy to get around the city. They are upgrading their rooms ours was not updated yet, downfall was the bathroom. Shower was in the bath and very small, mould in the shower curtain and grout all coming away. But that should all be fixed with updating. Felt a bit expensive for an outdated room. "
