"We spent 2 nights here and wanted more! The scenery is amazing, the peacefulness is so good for the soul. The cleanliness of the entire estate is top notch, with a beautiful pool and tables and chairs surrounding it. Our room was beautiful! We had a great view and again, the cleanliness was 10/10. We ate here one night and the food and wine were quite nice. We had to try their "sea wine" and it was delicious - be sure to ask about it! The staff were very attentive and helpful, lovely and genuine people. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here."

"Super quiet and scenic location for an overnight stay while traveling south through the area. Very convenient to the highway. Nice pool for relaxing. Disappointed that the restaurant was closed so I couldn’t try the food for dinner but it looked good."

"We feel so fortunate to have discovered this jewel of a property, and can't wait to come back . We were treated like family from the moment we arrived . The design of the hotel is striking and serene at the same time, with luxuriously simple structures nestled into a hillside with a lovely view of the fields and sunsets . This is a wonderful place to escape and recharge ."

"This is a beautiful resort that resets the mind and body. The room is spectacular with heated bathroom tiles and amenities. The food is very good with a variety of choices. The spa is very relaxing and you can stay by the pool and enjoy the atmosphere. The pool area is clean and you can enjoy the poolside bar and restaurant. There is a shuttle to the beach club that offers full service chairs, umbrella and food. It is a lovely resort."

"Lovely, stylish hotel in beautiful, peaceful location. Generous breakfast and good- quality evening dining available, though there are also a handful of cafe/bar/restaurants within a few minutes’ walk. Staff without exception friendly and helpful, with good English. Very relaxing atmosphere. Anyone interested in birds, nature and ecology will love the lagoon reserve, with its varied habitats, and if you’re willing to walk a little, you can find huge stretches of glorious beach all to yourself - though beware the Atlantic swells if it’s windy. Half an hour’s scenic drive takes you down the coast to pretty Porto Covo with its cliffs, coves, cafes and gift shops, whilst beautiful Évora is a couple of hours away and makes a lovely change for a day out. Or just chill on the hotel’s rooftop pool/bar terrace and wander down to the beach if you want to stretch your legs. The lagoon is shallow, with no waves, so good for wallowing or splashing about with small people. There’s a lifeguard on the Atlantic side and warning flags to indicate swimming conditions. We loved it all…"
