"We arrived fairlly late at night off a delayed flight so were glad to have acc oomodation. however, I didnt get the impression that the room had been freshly cleaned or checked before our arrival. There was a proliferation of dead insects (beetles of some description) on the floor on in the bathroom. There was also a large clump of someone else's hair on the bathroom floor. The towels were stained and not thick and luxurious as one would expect of a property with an "exceptional" rating. It certainly did not live up to its rating. That being said, the ebd was comfortable and breakfast was good. "

"Staff fantastic and made the stay. Too many to mention by name for fear of leaving someone out! Disabled facilities need a lot more thought and our feedback given to shudley on this matter. "

"The apartment was very dusty. Beds were also dusty and it smelled of very stale air. It was not opened before our arrival and aired out. We were put into another apartment upon arrival which was not the one I booked. We have a young child which is why I booked a studio so that he could have his own bed whilst being close to us. We were told on arrival that our room was given to another family and that we were upgraded to a two bedroom. The security guard was unaware and confused so there were a few phone calls back and forth to try figure out what was going on. The whole check in process was problematic. We had to call the number of the website to locate the security guard to allow us access into the property. The check process can be smoother and better communication in advance would have avoided so much time being wasted especially after long flights and the long drive from the airport."

"The room was okay, the bed was dirty the floors not great either. The fridge stunk !! I booked a room, upon arrival i was informed my bed was already sold to someone else and was forced to pay an additional fee for an upgrade as that was all that was available. Was told it's that or cancel the booking even though the email stated no refunds !! I had roaches running around and felt stuff crawling on me. Never again !! R550 paid for a terrible night of little sleep and i could not even eat or drink anything before washing dishes first. Never again "

"The cottage we stayed in was at the top of a very steep hill with no place for a vehicles to turn around, so you have to reverse down. Pro is that you get a nice view, but con is that you have schlep to get up there. they wanted me to park my car at the bottom of the hill which I ignored in the end. Quite rustic in the kitchen but the bed and bathroom was ok. "
