"firstly what a fantastic hotel - stayed for 2 weeks and had a very relaxing break and stay - staff very friendly and helpful, with the Botanic bar a personal favourite BUT disappointingly it is NOT a golf resort (private members only) as we were politely ushered out of the clubhouse when enquiring about tee times 😢 but still a good spot for the other vilamoura course - overall a great stay but would have been nicer to play golf ⛳️ "

"Lovely hotel resort-spotlessly clean. We had a studio which was very spacious with a very large bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. It was the best of both worlds- I like an apartment and my friend who I travelled with prefers a hotel so we opted for the studio ( which was like an apartment) with breakfast as an extra .The breakfast was excellent ( good choice of gluten free items ) and you could get lunch / dinner if required . We only ate dinner there once and were a bit disappointed with the food which was surprising as the breakfast was so nice. The staff were great-so helpful . My friend broke her sunglasses and they repaired them for her. A big plus (and it maybe the time of year as we went just after the school holidays) was that there was no scramble for sunbeds. There were always lots available at any time of day. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk to the marina or a 5 minute taxi ride - we sometimes booked an uber and it was about 5 euros . Overall we loved our stay here- our only small issues were that there was no mirror in close proximity of a plug so difficult to dry your hair, and our balcony was very small and set back between 2 buildings so not a great view. If a balcony space is important to you the 1 bed apartments seem to have a bigger / better balcony or maybe contact the hotel direct to ask for one that is not set back like ours . "

"Unbelievable place. The hotel staff made this holiday even more special; so polite helpful and always welcoming! They have helped me with all my queries and happy to be of assistance. The hotel is quiet and amazingly decorated. They provide and carer for kids which was the highlight of the holiday. Kids pool and play area along with kids club. I found a great deal on expedia which i couldnt say no to!!"

"I couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough. We usually stay at the Conrad but decided to stay at the Wyndham Grand for a change. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, the rooms are suites which are fabulous and if you’re golfers it’s the perfect location. My only negative feedback would be that when the hotel is booked to full capacity the swimming pool area isn’t big enough. If you’re travelling as a couple I wouldn’t recommend this hotel in the August school holidays. To finish on a positive the bar area, restaurants and reception areas are beautiful along with a great gym and spa. "
