"The hotel is great, nice place to relax in the thermal waters. Room was very spacious and well located. Spa was decent. Breakfast could improve quality as some of the breads seemed old a couple of times. Staff were very kind and responsive. Desafio Termal is worth it. "

"Want your vacation ruined — this is the place for you! I am absolutely seething with fury after my experience at this so-called hotel. If there were a way to give this place negative stars, I would do it without hesitation. From the moment we arrived, it was a complete disaster. We arrived with a confirmed booking, tired and expecting a smooth check-in, only to be told — with shocking indifference — that they “couldn’t find” our reservation. No apology, no urgency, no accountability. Just shrugs. What followed was hours of our time completely wasted while they did absolutely nothing meaningful to fix their mistake. Instead of taking responsibility, they pushed us out the door by calling a cab (which, by the way, they did NOT pay for), and sent us to some “friend’s hotel” as if that was an acceptable solution. It wasn’t. Not even close. The place they sent us to was beyond unacceptable — it was honestly disgusting. The room had no window, no fridge, no AC. The fan was filthy, clearly never cleaned, just blowing around stale, foul air. The smell in the room was unbearable — thick, suffocating, and impossible to ignore. The bathroom? Even worse. There was someone else’s hair in there, no proper ventilation, and to make it even more absurd, there’s a literal window from the tiny bathroom straight into the bedroom. So if someone uses the bathroom (and yes, let’s be real), everything — sound, smell, all of it — goes directly into the sleeping area. Zero privacy. Zero hygiene."

"We liked the location, not far from the termales. It's a nice big place with lots of beds and a private parking area. It's good for a big group of family or friends. A negative was that there were a few cockroaches, and some boxes sitting in the living room. It seemed like maybe no one had rented it for a while. When we stayed, two of the rooms were inaccessible to us because of construction. We didn't know this ahead of time. Also, the key to the outdoor seating and recreation area was not given to us until we were about to leave. Finally, we didn't realize there were no towels. However, the host responded quickly to our request with emergency towels, which we appreciated. Bottom line: ask questions about the details before you book. With better communication, it can be a nice place to stay. "

"I reserved the basic cabin. On Exepdia there are no pictures that show that the basic cabin is about 10 x 10 feet and that the only article in the room is a matrass on the floor. It also does not state that the toilet and shower are about 100 feet away from the cabin and that there is not even a path to get to them. You have to walk over grass that becomes extremely soggy when wet. There is only wifi in the restaurant and no electrical outlets in the cabin. I just want to state that the info about this cabin is completely incorrect. It also does not state that this property is an area where locals can spend the day in the pool and on the grounds. All this information should be corrected on Expedias website. Nevertheless we enjoyed our 2 night stay. The people were friendly and the area was beautiful."
