Fairly easy check-in process, all digital and no need for in-person interaction. Very convenient for someone with a busy schedule. Room was spacious for me traveling solo, and the amenities provided (fridge space, microwave, some toiletries) were nice as well. Parking for me wasn’t too much of an issue since my stay was during weekdays, but on weekends i could see it being more difficult. There is parking across the street but i believe it is pay to park at a hospital garage

Clean room, great facilities and good location. I’d say the only downsides for me is that there’s too many locks throughout the property (a total of 4 to go through before you can enter your room - 1 at the main entrance, 2 to enter the building and 1 to enter the room) and since there’s no on-site staff you have to message them on Expedia and wait for a response and they can be a little slow). Overall I was quite pleased with the property, just those small things were a little annoying at first.

I was a little hesitant about booking a stay at a “hostel” HOWEVER!!! After staying here it felt more like a bed and breakfast minus the breakfast lol. I felt VERY safe with many coded locks and it’s in a great location. I really loved my stay here and I would absolutely book a stay here again. Very nice place to stay in this area. I stayed in the studio suite, very spacious and the bathroom is lovely and good kitchen facilities. A minor negative is a slight mustiness smell, but probably due to the building age and decor which adds to the charm, and sorting out the light switches was a bit of a fun challenge.

This was our second time staying with The Rosemary. I love the atmosphere that is upheld in the common areas, and the security of the entryway. I have stayred in the double bed bedroom with my partner, and the bedroom is always spotless. I personally prefer that there is not daily bedroom cleaning, although it is available on request. The staff are always available to answer questions, or refill hospitality area items if necessary.

The inside was very nicely decorated for the theme, and the area it is in is convenient, however the rest of our stay wasn’t as great. There is no parking except street side, which we ended up getting a ticket for. The walls are super thin and you can hear people even whispering in the room next to us. The bar was not in use the entirety of our 4 day stay. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. And check in was an absolute nightmare for us, as well as someone else we met outisde the building who we had to help since whoever answered the phone was not. The only reason we give it any stars is because the property itself is very clean, convenient location, and secure. Other than that we did not care for it which was a huge let down.

I cannot say enough good things about The Rosemary. This was my second time, and we stayed for 5 nights. I loved loved loved our room so much, the bed was extremely comfortable, we had our own little outdoor area, and the kitchen was super convenient. Everything is decorated so cute. There’s no traffic and it was really quiet in our room. I will stay here every time.

I’m unsure how to feel about this place. Pros: Unique property with a funky/cool style, easy check-in process, good location and it was low cost. The property was clean and I enjoyed the size and look of my room - it felt like my own little apartment which I enjoyed. Cons: Parking - the suggested nearby parking lot wanted to charge double because of the size of my truck (it’s a normal vehicle) and it would have cost more than my room for the night. I did finally find street parking after a lot of circling. Safety was also a bit worrisome. There was loud pounding on my door at night and no lock on patio sliding door. The wifi is also very slow so I had to go elsewhere to work and the bed/pillows and towels need some updating. Overall it’s a place that has a ton of promise, but is missing some creature comforts, but at a lower price it’s expected.

Discreet House in Great Location

The place was very clean, comfortable, and luckily quiet. I hardly saw anyone there despite it being a house with common shared space. The location is great, walking distance to Dinosaur Coffee, Vons grocery store, and Handel’s ice cream. Best of all is that it is reasonably priced. I would surely stay there again at that rate.
