2/10 Terrible

Two days prior to our arrival the company contacted us demanding a substantial damage deposit to be paid by direct deposit to their bank account or our already paid for booking would be cancelled. We had paid for the booking by credit card but they would not accept it for the damage deposit. We thought this seemed a bit sketchy but had no choice but to acquiesce to their demand. They promised to return the funds within 15 days of our departure. After two months of delays and even a few emails from them stating that “the cheque was in the mail” we had to get Expedia involved who then resolved the situation for us. The accommodation was adequate although it lacked the necessities for using the kitchen. The heating was also an issue especially in the bathroom. We booked our three week stay in the UK through Expedia and this company was the only negative issue we had to deal with. From our experience I would suggest not trusting them. In fact, if you research them on other review sites (we did not) you will see that others have had issues with their business practices. One last thing, we had to transfer the funds to “Tide Properties” and the company was AV Stays. There was also another company involved called Travelstaytion but I believe they are all one company.
