"The concierge Mohammad helped us so much he went above and beyond. The Uber drivers would not take us because we had two people and four bags, one large and one small each. He complained and got us a ride. The service was above and beyond."
STG Hotel London Oxford Street

"The shower , TV , refrigerator , aircon and loo paper were all excellent in our Classic Double room but the bed was creaky and placed against a side wall - we are in our seventies and didn't appreciate the assault course . Things we had come to take for granted on our many previous stays at what we now call STG have to be requested from Reception for the Classic room : kettle , cups , extra pillow , room clean , towel change ( the last two never happened ) No concierge now - He always answered every question ! We drank in the hotel bar and dined in both restaurants - all excellent but £19 for breakfast seemed a bit steep . STG location - almost in Oxford Street - is great ; since the advent of the Elizabeth Line , just 2 tube stops from Paddington . I would recommend this hotel on that basis alone but be sure of what to expect !"
