"Overall this property is great if location matters. Our room was clean and property well maintained. Staff was nice upon checkin, but offered no direction to room/ice/breakfast hours (I did ask and she told me the hours) a guest book in the room explaining where to find things would be a suggestion. The train wasn’t an issue. The major issue was after returning from the coffee shop in the am, the room next door slammed what must have been a desk on the adjoining wall to the point that my water spilled on the nightstand and the mattress which I was sitting on was moved several inches. It literally jolted me while relaxing on the bed. Clearly there is very little that separates the rooms. We left very shortly after that, skipping morning showers as we felt very uneasy about what happened. It wasn’t a push a desk flush back to a wall.. it was a very hard purposely done slam of furniture to the wall. If you can’t relax in your bed without having the adjoining wall rearrange things in your room.. it’s time to go! The room on the other side had several Amazon packages outside the door when we checked in.. still there at checkout. A young man and his friend who were frequent back in forth multiple times a day at all hours, parking in front of our room was leering at my daughter upon leaving for a concert.
Would I stay again.. no! But I won’t take off of the rating for what I hope is a very one off situation. It’s good for a very short, no frills stay."
