"Dear BIRGÉS Hotel Team, We would like to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude for the wonderful experience we had at your beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Your hospitality truly made us feel special and comfortable. The spa facilities are absolutely amazing! Everything is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, including the saunas and pools. The massage services were excellent, and our room was spotless, cozy, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The food was outstanding! Both breakfast and dinner exceeded our expectations. We also truly appreciated the professional and convenient bicycle rental service. One of the things we loved most about BIRGÉS Hotel is the atmosphere. Although the hotel is luxurious, elegant, and beautifully designed, it never makes guests feel that they need to be wealthy or pretend to be someone they are not. We could simply be ourselves, relax, and enjoy everything in a warm, welcoming, and respectful environment. To us, that is what true luxury and exceptional hospitality are all about. "Lake Balaton was picturesque and relaxing. The hotel was beautiful, extremely well maintained inside and out. The staff were very helpful and everyone we walked past said hello/good morning/good afternoon - we felt welcome. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. The wellness centre was brilliant and we made a point of going to soak in the warm pool each morning. My husband also used the sauna & cooler pool. We also decided to book a massage with Eva and she was brilliant! The breakfast was fantastic - a huge selection and probably the best we have had on our travels. Absolutely enjoyed our stay and would love to return again some time."

"What a great place to relax. After the bustle of Vienna, this cozy inn nestled in a quite neighborhood was just what we needed to unwind. It's quirky in a great way. The staff was super friendly, the breakfast was awesome and the room was roomy."

"We really enjoyed our time at this property, thank you. I think there is great value overall. The balcony was really relaxing and our room was spacious. The grounds are really well kept and there are lots of seating and room for guests to enjoy. We really appreciated the small bathtub put in our room for our baby. Very nice attention to detail. We also enjoyed the wine tasting. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and it’s a nice touch to not only try wines from the area but also to mingle with others. If I’m being honest, my husband and I felt the food is overpriced. We had lunch once and dinner once for two which totaled over $220 with no alcohol (the dinner price is fixed and lunch consisted of chicken tenders, a sandwich and fries). Dinner is a buffet and à la carte combo. I may be the minority here but the buffet food and aspect cheapened the costly dinner experience as we felt the à la carte part was the tastiest and freshest. Would’ve rather had the ordering menu and had a glass of wine included in the price. The cost of the food and the cost of the room was just a bit odd to us."

"Family with one teenager, from the UK. We were super impressed with this hotel. We don't speak Hungarian, but we were made so welcome, particularly by the reception staff, who responded to requests for kettles, an iron, and numerous other things. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of sunbeds and the variety of food at breakfast and dinner. It was such a relaxing stay — we absolutely loved it!"

"Room was clean and the property grounds were maintained. Our balcony had too many cobwebs to feel comfortable sitting there. The staff was nice. Especially helpful was one of the front desk staff in arranging a driver for us. Unfortunately, I didn’t see a name tag."
