"Our room (room two which was a deluxe double) was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and clean. The decor of the hotel is an acquired taste but it was fun for a change! Dinner was good although the quality of breakfast was very poor sadly."

Cromwell's Tap House

10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I had a great stay here for our anniversary weekend. The room was great value compared to other local hotels, ideal location in the centre of Shrewsbury and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The discount off food and drink in the pub was a nice bonus! The super king double room was great and had almost everything we needed. It was a little run down in places but was mainly just a quirky older building which was fun. We didn’t have any issues with noise, there was just a bit of noise from people walking outside towards the end of the night but nothing crazy. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others."
