"The property was in a wonderful location. It was so nice to escape for a week after first visiting Athens. It felt like a true getaway. The cove in the property was one of the best places we've ever swam in. Our room had a great view of the sunset from right outside our window. Within a 3 minute walking distance to the beach which also allowed for some great swims. "We spent our Whitsun holidays at the JW Marriott Crete with our young kids and had a great time. The resort is beautiful, located right at the quiet end of Marathi Bay. "Staff were all lovely, so helpful and were the highlight of the stay.
Due to lack of staff being on roster we weren’t able to book the spa over the weekend.
Our room was quite worn and in the bath room quite grubby. Just felt a like the place was a little run down. "
