"Centrally located hotel with a beautiful lobby, restaurants, and pool/spa area. The rooms were a little dated and the breakfast does not have fresh seafood like in the photos but it was still a lovely stay"

"Air conditioning was not working well, property is clean but far from subway station, around 20 to 30 minute walk. There are a lot of eateries around and a wet market is around 15 minute walk. Rooms are big. Nice big gym and pool, breakfast is very good! "

"As you step in the lobby you are greeted by professional staff ready to give you the warmest of welcome. The hotel is clean and service quality # 1. The manager helped us with our local SIM card and even offered to talk with China Telecom customer Service despite the fact he was multi tasking (greeting guests, checking them in and supervising his staff). Appreciation to 朱啟纵 who went out of her way to give us advice on local attractions, restaurants and how best to use the subway system. The cleaning lady always greeted us with a smile and frequently asked whether we needed something. She seemed to be there all the time ready to serve. This is why we booked 1 extra night (total 2+1). Definitely recommend the hotel. Exactly what the hotel advertises. No unpleasant surprises. Will definitely be our top choice when visiting Shanghai next time. To all the hotel staff a great thank you. "

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice room and good location to get to main areas (~15min walk to the metro line 2). "

"Room smelled of open sewer, several complaints had no effect. AC did not work, stuck at 25 degrees, staff told to regulate temperature by opening and closing a small window and turning AC on and off! Internet did not work - sometime totally gone, sometimes too slow to receive email. Could be fixed by reception for 2-3 hours, then gone again. Breakfast room understaffed - long que to get an egg, not one time in the week did we get a complete set of silverware, always one missing on all tables - playing ‘find a knife’ or similar every mornnng. The hotel is undergoing an overdue renovation andevidenly let a lot of people go. Did not lower price so if d something else for 2026"
