Red Lion Hotel & Conference Center St. George, UT

Red Lion Hotel & Conference Center St. George, UT

8/10 Good
"Very nice stay. The only things that kept if it from being excellent were a) the toilet/shower room is so tiny that one has to get off balance to close the door past the toilet which it misses by only a couple inches and b) the pillows were the cheapest lumpiest ever I have had in a hotel. Hat to sleep well with them. But the room is very spacious and bed comfortable. The AC/heater was very precise and kept temp just right. and everything was very clean. Super nice in that respect. Breakfast included was good (exactly the same each of our 3 mornings) Waffles, muffins, toast, brouwned potato chunks, scrambled eggs, sausage links, yogurt, toast, apples and bananas, and cereal. I would stay here again if came with my own pillow."

"Mountain View is up for interpretation. It’s a great location and in the heart of Springdale and close to Zion National Park. It’s just not somewhere you are going to sit outside and enjoy the view. If you’re staying one night and need a nice clean place to stay it’s a great option. If you’re wanting views and amenities, choose elsewhere."

"The location and price are excellent but please- you have to do a better job with the pet area- frankly I was afraid my dog would step in something so I walked him around perimeter of property instead. I know it is not hotel’s fault that there are so many owners who dont pick up../ but it was GROSS!"

"Perfect central location for what we needed. Was helping a family member move in to town, and this hotel was within minutes of their new home, stores, and restaurants. Also not far from some great state parks and hiking spots! Breakfast was small, but just what was needed. Indoor and outdoor pool provided great options, and staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again!"

"This is always my go-to when I’m traveling to southern Utah. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is great and they have free Tesla charging stations for convenient charging. It’s an especially great location if you’re going to be spending time in Zion national park, as it’s just a 20 minute drive to the park entrance."

"The room was very nice and clean but did have a couple of piles of leftover dirt on the floor but with it being a hiking area we can imagine it isn’t easy to get it all out while turning rooms quickly… the rooms are nicely set up, the only thing we wish is that that they had more soap/conditioner for our family of 4. The breakfast to go is a nice concept but fell a little flat for us…even our son who can get past"
