"Booked a 1 bedroom with full kitchen,seating area and got a quest room with one Queen bed and no kitchen or seating area inside the room.the reception lady Ana was very rude with us,and change the room to a down grade place.The room was overcharge and she told me she gave our room to other quests.we did not get the room we booked.i have an special diet and need the kitchen to cook.only one Queen bed and we need a sofa for my son to sleep.use a walker and disabled can not go up stairs.there where others Apt available.snd she gave us a wrong room.the room was not clean and there was a hotel laundry room full of bad smell soil clothes and towels in from of our door left there overnight.the room was nasty and did not smell good.terrible memorial day weekend.still waiting for a refund from Expirinan booking and an email"

"roach hotel. Keep looking and avoid this place. Ohhhh, the Keys. The only place in America where motel & hotel owners expected you you to be grateful for booking over priced, over-rated junk, but hey, it's the Keys way of life, right? Wrong. Vintage and historic are just fancy words for painted rust. Which basically describes the Keys. This hotel has the nerve to both call itself a resort and even charge a resort fee. It's the furthest thing away from a resort. It's a run down motel. Three stories and no elevator. 2 mostly dead upside down twitching roaches found on floor the morning we were checking out. Water in sink would not drain until you would flush toilet. Water pressure was so bad we had to brush teeth in sink just to flush toothpaste off the brush. Nasty cooking oil was on floor near stove. Just a nasty place overall. Another warning; the property does not tell you that it has construction going on in two different directions. They start up at 8am, so don't even think of sleeping in. Oh, and if you do sleep in, make sure you are out by 10am, no exceptions. What a joke. More lies? Okay. They will show you awesome pictures of the pool, and then 24 hours before check-in will send you a text stating, ops, so sorry our pool is out of order. The 'pool' was literally filled with black and brown algae and mold. Looked like something out of a bad horror movie. Best part, they will still CHARGE YOU $20 A DAY FOR A RESORT FEE!!!!! I can't make this up."

"The building needs major repairs! The hallways on the first and second floors were hot. Housekeeping and others fanned themselves as they walked through. We were told the HVAC unit was “in need of repairs.” They remained the same temperature all five days. The elevators were down one day. People checking in had to carry luggage upstairs. The property is not properly secured as someone was able to pull the fire alarm at 5am and at 6am the same morning. Everyone rushed downstairs in case of a fire to be told that it was a false alarm. Unfortunately, no communication was sent out to tell guests that it was a false alarm. The ONLY two reasons I this property does not have a one star rating for the amount paid compared to the experience we received is that the room was clean and the front desk/ housekeeping staff were kind and professional."
