"Room was good, lazy toilet and sink. Also very dated, needs to be upgraded soon. Carpets were really old and dusty. Apart from that staff and service was excellent 👍"

"The food was fantastic. I have stayed there on many ocassions with my family and it is great value for money and it's an easy bus ride (30 mins) into the heart of Edinburgh. Stayed over for 2 nights and spent a day in Edinburgh at the Christmas markets. If you are looking for a quiet spot outside the city with a swimming pool , amazing views and some homely luxury , with a Scottish Castle feeling then this is where to stay. Great hotel. "

"I had a great trip. Thank you to Tony who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Due to xmas the shopping slots were all gone and only a few days before our arrival there was a slot. He was very helpful in making sure our groceries order was collected by him when delivered to the apartment and then came again to put in our room ready for us when we arrived. We will definitely not forget his kind gesture!! Room was cosy and clean toilets! A nice lobby / lounge area in main reception:)"

"We have stayed quite a few times in the Dakota when visiting Scotland. Once again the hotel looked very festive, every member of staff was so helpful and friendly, especially the airport shuttle driver Craig. Well done Dakota another 10/10. We upgraded to exec and the champagne each night was a lovely touch. See you all again soon. "
