Great place

When you enter the premises , you arrive in a sort of paradise. When we arrived the weather was not that great, but the location is fantastic. So large pool, nice places to sit down and relax. Close was super market and we had a fridge in the room to cool the stuff. You can sit in the central living room , large kitchen or in a cellar with bar and pool table! Large beds what is good for me 1.92m A good restaurant close by is Manjar Real

I absolutely loved this accommodation! I would definitely come here again, it’s a quiet and calm stay with a beautiful garden and outside area. Everyone is so friendly and I felt safe all the time, even though I was traveling alone.

We had rooms in the main house, very nice and comfortable. The common areas are well thought out, the grounds were beautiful. It was perfect for our needs (4 adults including 1 couple). The owner was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Peaceful and comfortable

Vila Louro is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The lovely rooms are located in a beautiful garden with a pool, just 10 minutes from the beaches and down town Santa Cruz. The hosts were lovely and accommodating. Highly recommended.

This property is very nice.Our only regret is that we only spent two days there.There is so much to do and see with the numerous historical sites close by.The beach is beautiful along with the surrounding countryside. The dining options were fantastic.Next time we go we will spend the whole week!

Maison de famille reconvertie en chamber d'hote, très agréable, avec un immense jardin et une piscine extérieure. Chambre très agreeable, très bon petit déjeuner. On se sent comme à la maison! Billard, jeux de société, et "bar de confiance" : on se sert un verre et on note les consommations.

3 days in a pleasant summer retreat.

Vila Louro was not easy to find, so you will need your phone on before you arrive to give the owner the chance to contact you. The local area was beautiful but some of the amenities around the beach area were fairly spartan. There restaurants local we’re adequate without being exceptional. Vila Louro was excellent as were the facilities, the breakfast, the gardens and the the staff. The host appeared to have a reasonable command of most languages and was likeable, helpful and hospitalable. The rooms were clean and comfortable and well appointed. The area does tend to be slightly cooler than the surrounding areas, although in the high summer temperatures that can be viewed as advantageous. Overall this was a most enjoyable 3 days in this beautiful and pleasant retreat.

Ideal para uma estadia mais prolongada em família!

Excelente alojamento local num local belíssimo. Pena que fica numa área com acessos menos fáceis (apesar de terem boa qualidade) o que o torna ideal mais para estadias longas do que, como eu, para uma estadia de negócios. Voltarei para uma estadia em família com certeza em breve!

A very well run Villa

Very personal and attentive service from the owner, the site offers useful facilities such as a kitchen, bbq and games room. Our room was very well presented and the inclusive breakfast was comprehensive. Warmly recommended.

Very Welcoming Guest House & Wonderful Facilities

We received a wonderful welcome to stay in this lovely house where we had free access to a kitchen, barbecue area, pool and lounge. The family who run the place were very friendly, helpful and interested in helping us. The breakfast provided was home cooked and all that we might have wanted was available.

A quality place.

I enjoyed my two-night stay here very much whilst I explored some of the surrounding area. Comfortable rooms, very clean and everything in good condition. Excellent buffet breakfast, taken in a conservatory overlooking the garden. The gardens are large, attractive and well-maintained. The owners have thought to provide just about all facilities that any guest could need. As this was previously used as a large private house, common lounge areas are extensive and comfortable. There is also a shared kitchen available. The only real downside is that the house is quite a long way from anything apart from other houses, though that does help make the place quiet. There is not much to do or see in the village/town itself so having your own transport is vital, but make sure you know the coordinates for your SatNav. They do have bicycles available for guests to use, if you are into that sort of thing.

Erholsame Tage in der Villa Louro

Der Check-in war sehr angenehm. Der hilfsbereite und sympathische Gastgeber hat uns die schöne Gartenanlage, den Pool und die häusliche Umgebung gezeigt. Die Freizeit-und Einkaufsmöglickeiten und die Sehenswürdigkeiten in der näheren Umgebung wurden vom Besitzer erklärt. Wir hatten sofort Zugang zu Internet und konnten die Fahrräder kostenlos nutzen. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgerüstet und bieten Privatsphäre und Ruhe. In der Region ist Wassersport, Radfahren und Wandern möglich. Das beinhaltete Frühstück ist sehr vielseitig und wird in einem schönen Frühstücksraum angeboten. In der warmen Jahreszeit kann der Frühstücksraum geöffnet werden. Im Garten ist eine Spielanlage mi Schaukel, Rutsche und Klettergerüst. Für Erwachsene ist ein Billardzimmer geboten. Ein Mietwagen ist von Vorteil um die schöne Gegend zu erkunden.

Absolutely beautiful!

Vila Louro is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are immaculate. The landscaping is stunning! The pool is wonderful and refreshing. This is a very relaxing place to stay. The free breakfast is delicious. Philipe has bikes for you to ride 10 minutes into Santa Cruz where the beaches and coast are breathtaking. Philipe was also very helpful when I had questions as I don't speak Portuguese. I will definitely stay at Vila Louro again.
