"Lovely superior room, great views. Great location. Nice breakfast, didnt eat in the restaurant so cant comment but menu looked nice. Unfortunately no parking available at the hotel, although we where given directions to a public car park which was cheaper than the hotels."

"The main parts of the hotel were very well presented and the dining facilities were beautiful. The bedroom was a little tired and didn’t match expectations from the photos online. The view from the room was very good and the room was fine but it had no wow factor as other Hilton’s have had when we have stayed there. The bathroom was fine but windows and floors felt a bit tired. Disappointing to see that even the 2 bottles of water in the room were not free unless you were a Hilton member. All the little niceties of staying in a hotel have now gone and it now feels like only the basics. Food was amazing and staff were all really friendly and helpful. Cannot fault the restaurant or staff (apart from the automatic service charge which was added to the bill and was around 15%!) we would have tipped anyway but this felt sneaky and rude on the part of the hotel (not the individual staff)."

"Excellent clean room, was given the option to upgrade which I did to a club room and it was absolutely lovely, so glad I took the offer. Staff were all friendly, the Sky Bar was also great."

"This was our second visit to The Milner and we will definitely be returning again. It's a beautiful hotel with plenty of facilities and is ideal if your traveling by train as it is right next door to York Railway Station with direct access. The staff are amazing, very friendly and welcoming. We loved our stay!"

"Lovely stay at the Cedar Court. I’ve been quite a few times before but not since it’s had a bit of a refresh. They’ve done a really good job with it and the rooms now feel much more modern. It would have been nice to a few little extras in the room such as a vanity kit etc. that said the shower products are now the White Company which I love, sadly the shower gel was empty in our room and I didn’t realise until I was in the shower. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains keep out the light well."
