"The Anchor Inn was a refreshing change from hotel chain accommodations. The only down sides were that there was no breakfast offered and I noticed a little bit of dirt along the wall in one of the bedrooms and under the couch (but nothing a quick vacuuming couldn’t fix—I think we had one of the pet-friendly rooms). But the rest of the rooms were clean, and there was enough space to comfortably fit our party of seven. As others have commented, the shower was extremely small, but it worked well....

"Can’t beat the view! So great to be right on the beach. Be sure to get the second or preferably third floor rooms! Very helpful staff. Breakfast is great and evening chowder and cookies a nice touch! One of our favorite places!"
