"Great place to stay, excellent for Lime Street no more than 2 minutes away, staff great facilities good. A few things of concern not that it would not stop me booking again is 1 ply toilet rolls not great as it's not a budget hotel, also the radiators are clanking all night certainly on the room we had on 6 th floor, very annoying which affects your sleep, also the ceramic tiles in my bathroom were all lose and moved when you walked on them However bedrooms great extremely comfortable large beds and generally a great stay, would have no problem re booking this hotel but next time I would check out the things that required doing."

"The hotel its self is very grand and impressive. Parking is limited but there’s another car park literally over the road. Check-in was easy although a little noisy. It’s hard not to be impressed with such an amazing historical building. The room was absolutely massive. Bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Great choice of fresh pastry’s and the hot selection was of really good quality. Would definitely like to rerun again. "

"Breakfast buffet was good value for money. Room was clean but incredibly hot with no way of controlling the temperature of the radiator. Comfortable bed and good shower/wc room which appeared to have been recently refurbished. Check in was easy, friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bar with reasonably priced drinks."

"Lovely friendly staff, lovely place , easy to get to the centre from by public transport , beautiful dining room and lovely continental breakfast . Will definitely stay again as it was so welcoming . George on reception was so helpful too , lovely helpful chap . And the lady we checked in with Sat afternoon was super nice too . Loved our stay there , will definitely be back xx"
