"The Motel is older (greater than 50 yrs old). The staff were very friendly. The room was clean and cool. I could change the temp on the air conditioner but not the fan speed. There was no towel rack or hook in the bathroom. My room was closest to the road but it was nice and quiet overnight. I was close enough to town to walk (though it was probably about 1/2 mile or more). The Starbucks was just a long block away so I didn't go in for the coffee and pastries. I was comfortable so I'd give it a positive review."

"I thought the property was beautiful. The patio doors to a terrace or small deck for a sitting area was wonderful. I would of liked it closer to the casino but the shuttle was nice. Not having a place for breakfast nearby we drove a bit for this. I would stay again it was really nice and I would recommend it to others"

"we were looking for just a couple nights close to Sleeping Bear area to hike and bike and this location was perfect. We had a room on the upper level getting a cooler up the stairs was a challenge but not a deal breaker for sure, and BTW we are active seniors so that might not be any problem for younger people. We used the grill and had a meal outside on the deck, walked down the the beach one morning for coffee and in the evening to swim and used the kyacks. The firepit looks awesome but it was too hot to have a fire. We had a kitchenette and worked out great for making breakfast. It had everything we needed. It was quite at night. Would definatly come back again."
