"An amazing view of the fjord complete with waterfall, snowy mountains, and an electric ferry (very quiet overall, which was nice given the close proximity of the guesthouse to it). Gullveig and Paolo have done a great job updating the facilities and the rooms were comfortable and well-provisioned. They had a wonderful breakfast spread and some great stories to share with us. I can't recommend the guesthouse enough!"

"Such an historic beautiful old hotel in Solvorn, Norway for our last stay before leaving the country. We just so happened to arrive the evening of the biggest storm in the last 25 years and our room was right in front of the ferry/dock to see all the action. As we arrived later in the day we were too exhausted to dine there so they brought us nice sandwiches and champagne upon arrival too."

It seemed like they tried to save money and strange places like not refilling this soap in the shower. The shower took a long time to get hot water. Maybe being on the top floor limited These things. The restaurant only had one course each night and if you didn’t like it, you were out of luck. It has a lot of potential but miss the Mark. It almost will be better. Run as a B&B. If you need it for location, this is a fine place to stay, which is why we were here."

"The rooms are very rustic (but it is a campground so I wouldn't expect much different). The breakfast was great and plentiful, which was awesome for our family who left right after to go on a white water rafting trip, so to have had breakfast handled for us was wonderful. "
