"This hotel is a quirky, cute little place, walking distance to an adorable shopping and restaurant area. It's a little farther from Grafton Street and the Temple Bar area, but it's an easy Uber or about a 15 to 20 minute walk. The staff of the hotel is wonderful and knowledgeable about the area and eager to help. The bar espresso bar in the lobby surfs excellent drinks, and the lobby itself has multiple sitting and lounging areas and even guitars available. So the vibe there there in the evenings when everyone was coming back from their adventures was really friendly, with groups of travelers playing board games, playing music, or just relaxing with a drink. It gave you a wonderful opportunity to chat with fellow travelers. The rooms were very comfortable and convenient, clean, and quiet. Our first time in Dublin, and we were so pleased with everything about this hotel. Highly recommended!"

"A short one night stay on a cold day/night in Dublin. The room was well heated, we had dinner in the restaurant which was perfect. We had to leave early on departure, and didn't require breakfast as we had a medical appointment (fasting), but everything else was great, as usual - Not our first stay at the Skylon, nor will it be our last."
