"We arrived at 10:00 pm and received an upgrade. That was good. However, the additional cost for a late checkout was 25 Euro, which we therefore did not take. The regular checkout was 11 pm - merely 13 hours later. I put the tag not to be disturbed, but the cleaner nevertheless knocked on the door at 10:40 or so. That was unpleasant and not correct."

"The most charming hotel we have ever booked! Fabulous location on a pedestrian street & a canal, next to a windmill. Bridges on both sides. Fantastic breakfast with more food than we could eat. Walkable to lots of museums, shops, restaurants. We did not want to leave! 10 stars!"

"The room was clean, the wifi worked, the hotel is really near the train station and a short walk into the centre of town. The double glazing was good so I had no problem with noice. It's not luxurious but for somewhere to rest your head for a few days it's perfectly fine."

"We had a good time at Hotel VIC! It was clean and the staff was very nice. Our only complaints are that checking in and out was difficult after booking through Expedia (we weren’t given the reservation numbers which were needed to check in / out on their automated system, and there wasn’t anyone staffing it when we needed to check out), and that the mirror / low lighting situation in the rooms make it difficult to apply makeup. Overall a good experience though!"
