Mangrove Beach Corendon Curacao All-Inclusive Resort, Curio by Hilton

8/10 Good

"Everything was good in my experience. We didn’t like how self served it is for what we paid. Having to find your own table at the buffet and getting your own drinks was new to us. Also many times we needed to get our own cutlery, which isnt a big deal but for a 7k trip seemed like the service didnt match the price. The staff was friendly and helpful, grounds were maintained well. The beach was Great, our kids loved the dock to jump off. It was a great trip but not worth the price. Food was okay- we were a little shocked that we were told we couldn’t order multiple things from the menu at an all inclusive (example. We wanted a pizza to share as a family as an appetizer but they said no. Pizza is only one per person as a main) this was throughout all the restaurants which was super weird to us as we’ve never experienced that strictness at an all inclusive. The food quality was okay- everything at the restaurants could be found at the buffet except the bbq. The bbq was good but everything was dressed in bbq sauce which wasnt very good and again very strict on menu (we were a family of 4 and given a small bowl of salad to share) when we asked for another bowl they very reluctantly gave us one and made a point to say it was supposed to be one. Overall it was a good trip but for the price we wouldn’t return."

"8/10 – A Solid Stay with a Few Hiccups Overall, I’d give this hotel an 8/10 and would definitely recommend it. The Good: * Great location, close to the heart of Willemstad. * The food was surprisingly good, with a buffet that offered plenty of tasty options. * Cleanliness was a perfect 10/10—the hotel was spotless. * Rooms were spacious and comfortable. * Bonus points for the built-in USB ports, which saved me after I forgot my adapter. The Not-So-Good: * Customer service was a bit of a mystery. Some employees were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, while others seemed to be rude, and not accommodating * The Wi-Fi was unreliable and frequently disconnected. We were even unable to log into our laptops to complete some work. One Small Wish: I would have loved a little more on-site entertainment, but that’s just a personal preference and would have simply elevated the experience. Final Verdict: Clean rooms, good food, and a convenient location made for a very enjoyable stay. Fix the Wi-Fi and make customer service more consistent, and this place could easily be a 8/10."

Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive

"I stayed at the Tamarijn resort for seven days for my honeymoon, for the first three days we stayed on a second floor and one of the nights my wife woke up to a cockroach crawling out of the shower drain, then next morning we switched rooms, we also lost electricity two days in a row for about an hour, the staff was really nice and especially Johnny the bartender he was very helpful, the food was 50/50 overall some of the restaurants took a really long time to bring our food out, there was a few pools at the resort but the only one you could grab drinks or food from was the main one and that was pretty far from the room the rest of the pools would not provide any drinks or snack"

"I liked the room a lot they were modern and clean There was no pool side drink service you could go to bar each time but that would have been nice. There were 2 bars so not much of a wait , At times depending on certain staff you got the feeling you were bothering them when asking for something. Coffee bar in morning was great and quick pastries were great. A simple thing that really bothered me was if you wanted say a coke the bar was not open till 11am You had to go into buffet rest and ask then they would get you one. This was just a big annoyance. Maybe stock fridge with cans. Food at tamarin Italian was really good and buffet was a little cumbersome as you ordered your food depending on what you wanted maybe to cut down on wast, again a little cumbersome Location was good. I realize it’s always windy but beach was a little rough the week we went. Overall not bad but I think for me it will not be a return to this hotel"

"I cannot rave about this 5 stars hotel enough!! From the attentive staff, all the amenities. It’s just so spectacular. Right across beautiful Eagle beach where you can watch the sunset or from your room if you have the ocean view. The rooftop pool is amazing. The breakfast buffet is to die for! Everything was amazing, but the service was the highlight of my stay! Also the vallet was so convenient since I had a car rental. It was no hassle, they’d grab my car anytime I needed it and took care of the parking when I got back. This is the best hotel In Aruba! They go above and beyond!"
