"Beautiful resort and views. Excellent beach. However the resort is a little boring and there’s not much happening in the lobby or common area. If you’re not dining there isn’t much in the way of entertainment at night, and there’s nowhere nearby worth walking to (fine for a resort stay but not fine if the resort is lacking action)."

"The wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Bilmar. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was outstanding. The pools were outstanding as well. We loved eating next door at Sloppy Joe's. We've stayed here a few times and never regretted it. Had a great stay. Thank you."

"The hotel itself was great, but unfortunately the billing experience was not. We were charged multiple unexpected fees, including a per day for parking and a per day resort fee. While at the resort, the staff admitted to my face that charging me the Expedia amount directly said it was an accident and said it would be credited back. However, after I left, the story changed and I was told it was actually a “deposit.” As of writing this review, the money still has not been returned. For a two-night stay, I ended up with an additional $625 in charges pending/posted beyond what was expected. The property itself was nice, but the lack of transparency and inconsistent explanations regarding the charges really took away from the experience."

"It was a very nice hotel to stay at, especially for a night or two if you’re looking to have a quick getaway the only thing that I would complain about is paying to park, but other than that, it’s a nice hotel and the staff for great as well as the room in which you stay in"

"I really regret not checking out and reading about this hotel, it was not a nice experience since hotel was not clean, Elevator was not working. Ice machines were not working. We needed to go through the stairs to the 4th floor to get ice. I’ve stayed in Motel 6 motels that were in better shape and cleaner than this place. The only good thing was been right next to the beach. "
