Modern sculptures punctuate pedestrian plazas where restaurant terraces create a lively atmosphere. Design boutiques occupy glass-fronted spaces beneath soaring industrial ceilings. Olympic Museum showcases sports history while tree-lined paths lead past pristine beaches. Metro M2 whisks you to Lausanne's center in just 10 minutes. Upscale restaurants serve fresh perch with mountain views. Though tourist-oriented, the flat walkable promenades offer peaceful lake access and gorgeous sunset strolls.

Lausanne Center

The pedestrianized areas around Place de la Palud create a delightful atmosphere for exploring shops and cafes. Steep pathways reveal unexpected views of Lake Geneva and the distant Alps. Montriond-Cour is a peaceful residential haven where charming streets blend with natural beauty. The neighborhood's crown jewels include Parc de Milan with its majestic trees and the University's Botanical Gardens featuring exotic plant collections. Cultural enthusiasts will appreciate the Museum of Zoology's fascinating exhibits. This tranquil area offers a genuine slice of Swiss local life. "Great view and. Location ! The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that they don’t allow 4 people regardless if they’re kids or not in the room while the rooms are big and vast. Other than that, location and view are amazing."

"Nice, affordable hotel. The location is wonderful and they provided us the free transportation card for Lausanne which made getting around very easy. There's not anything in the area for breakfast and we ate at the hotel which wasn't expensive and was pretty extensive. We brought a car and parked in the ramp overnight -- yes, there's a fee, but its not out of line with hotels anywhere in the world. The room was spacious for three people with too much luggage. The A/C worked well. The beds were comfortable (my teenager loved the Murphy bed with the "normal mattress"!). The family was all happy."

Beautiful views of Lake Geneva. Several food options on site. Walkable into town and the path along the lake. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Thank you for the lovely lemon cake to celebrate my daughter's birthday. It was a wonderful surprise. Highly recommend."
