"We absolutely loved our stay! It couldn’t be in a better area. Very walkable to restaurants and bars and shopping. The full breakfast is an excellent feature! Fresh lemon water available all day. Nice decor. We had a big balcony! Will be back if we’re ever in Ottawa."

"Great hotel in Ottawa, less than 10 minute drive to Parliament and U Ottawa, byward market, etc. Free parking and breakfast definitely make it worth it. Will be staying here again next time in Ottawa."

"The staff were lovely, but the room was likely the worst hotel room I've ever seen. I at first thought the old-fashioned actual room key was quaint, but I was really shocked when I first went into the room. Dated, dingy and dirty, the room seemed more like a low end motel that you'd find on the side of a highway. The carpet was filthy, I've left and moved to another hotel. If I planned to come back to Ottawa and this was my only hotel option, I wouldn't come to Ottawa. I did like the location and the sauna was good, but overall I'd never, ever stay here again"

"I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I picked it instead of the more expensive conference hotel that was on offer. Location was great to get to the Byward market. Breakfast was appropriate for a grab and go, and the gym facilities were nicely maintained. I liked the luggage storage lockers. Customer service was excellent. In-room kitchen was well stocked with gear to make light meals and snacks. One downsize was with no offsite parking, they recommended a parking garage around the corner. I didn't mind the walk, but the garage access itself was confusing, isolated and required going through a building that was under construction. I did not feel safe as a solo female. "

"The visit to this hotel was less than expected. We looked forward to swimming but the pool and pool deck were dirty, The room was nothing special…no microwave. For the price we paid, at least a continental breakfast should have been included. Breakfast 28 dollars! The sheets were very rough. For a 4 star hotel I expected much better!!!!"
