"the staff is what makes the Desmond great. Always so kind and helpful. I only downgraded one section because I am bitter about the remodel. I loved the wood counter and hate the "modern" look that is cold."

"Keep looking! Lots of work being done on property. No signs on building stating name. Restrooms in lobby dirty. Room smelled like cigarette smoke. We checked in and promptly checked out. "

"Overall the property was clean and in decent condition. Breakfast was a disappointment—no cheese selections and no donuts. No bagels pretty meager selection. Staff was courteous and nice. Bedding linen was old and cheap. Room and bathroom were clean. We were given a room for disabled which we were not warned about. Would have preferred a regular room with a little more space."

"Well the jacuzzi wasn’t working which was the prime reason for getting this property, the pool was cold. They did have a very good free breakfast buffet! No real restaurant to really speak of and the bar opened late. "
